The Eero Saarinen Tulip armchair was part of a collection designed in 1957 which explored the " cleaning up of the slum of the legs"which characterized so many chairs and the tables at the time. The designer’s goal was to create a single pedestal upon which Tulip armchair  surface would rest... the result is a timeless expression of modernism which remains as popular today as it did over 40 years ago. These elegant and practical reproductions of the Tulip Chairs are ideal when teamed with one of the Tulip Tables as a dining chair.

Our version of the Tulip Armchair has a lacquered cast aluminium base, with comfortable fiberglass shell. The Tulip Armchairs also have a reinforced bonded finish which will maintain its glossy perfection through years of use. Tulip Armchair cushions are available in either leather or fabric.
